Last run was week 3 run 3 completed on Sunday 9 June. Haven't run since due to what I thought was a sore knee. Went to docs today and think it's bursitus- recommended to continue on anti inflammatorys and ice it often throughout the day, also advised no running for next two weeks.
Absolutely gutted , by the time I get back into I would've been on week 7 , now likely back to week 2 or 3 to ease back into it.
Just had to share this to get it out my system but you can only do what your body will allow .

Sorry about your injury, just have to take things easy with no runs, however, depending on how long you are off running you can start again, best to restart at week 2 or 3.
That’s a bummer Curly but I hope you heal quickly! I’ve had to go back a few weeks myself recently - it’s a bit like riding a bike really, you soon pick it up again and it really doesn’t feel as though you’re going backwards even though it might feel like that now! But you’re quite right, you ignore your body at your peril! Good luck!
