Any recommendations please for socks available in UK? I’ve still got my old 1000 mile socks which are good, BUT the outer layer tends to slip toewards. These are double layer anti blister. Thanks for any advice.

I am using Decathlon's own brand and haven't had any problems. I have 2 different types, one tyoe is "trainer shaped at the top and doesn't leave an elastic line around my ankles which is good when I have to go to work. The others have a very helpful L and R on them so I know which foot to put them on : )

I have had no blisters and no "rucking up" problems with them

I've got these ones. amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07D41...

I had no idea what I was looking for when I got them, so went with reviews. I did blanche at the price! But they have been awesome - and also have L and R on them which is especially helpful for those early mornings! They don't come up too high but don't droop under my trainer heel either.

I use Decathlon’s strap socks, and cheap black supermarkets socks. Either does the trick for me. Today ran in my thicker walking socks just because. Probably won’t do that again, took up too much room in my trainers 🧦

I didnt even know running socks existed until I posted about trainers the other day. I also run in 'normal' trainer socks. Thin black primark ones!!!!
