Exercises for a sore hip?

Hi everyone! I have been getting pain in my right hip, it goes on and off. Imagine putting your hands on your hips and the pain is roughly located near my fingertips (hope that makes sense). I always walk before my runs , walk afterwards and do various stretches including stuff I found on YouTube . I don’t run fast and always leave two days between runs sometimes three. Any idea what could help? Is three times a week unrealistic in my situation ? If you have sore hips (just the right side in my case 🤨) what helps? Thanks

Give yourself a short break from running, if the pain persists you can see your doctor for professional advice.

I found running helped my hip pain. I don’t think you need to take a break but you could try some strength exercises. Squats are good.

If this is persistent then I would consult a GP or preferably a physio.
