Week 5 Run 2.. Legs just did their thing and my mind was free to roam

Completed W5R2 this morning and I'm sure I had a breakthrough in my running.. After the 5 minute warm-up walk I just told my legs to do their thing until I told them to stop instead of constantly "watching the clock" and counting down the minutes... I felt I had more to give at the end of the 2 runs but (wisely) stuck with the plan.... Does it get easier from here on? Can anyone identify with what I went through this morning?

It does get easier from now on, once you have ran the third run of week 5 and especially the third run of week 6 you are officially a runner, good luck. 👍 🏃 😊

There are definate points where you can feel like "I've cracked it"

You can then get poopy runs that are really draggy but those "cracked it" runs in memory help spur you on! 😁👍

I do remember feeling 'in the zone' for the first time around Week 5 Unfit_Dad, it didn't last long on that run, but it was nice to know it's there😆...

You may have heard the term robot legs on here, where everything feels relaxed and your legs just carry you forward...

Things definitely start to fall into place soon like AlMorr and Jojo have said.

Good luck with your next run...you can do it!😊x
