Nearly back

It's been nearly 8 weeks since I tore my ACL and cartilage and for the first time I feel that I might be able to start C25K again soon. I'm up to 20k a day on the exercise bike without it giving me too much pain but I'm still walking with a limp. I don't have another appointment for 8 weeks and it's then I'll find out if I need surgery on the cartilage. Reading everyone's posts every day has really helped me stay focused and I'm looking forward to posting about W1R1 again.

I am glad you did... it is so hard.. I was off for weeks waiting for an MRI scan, then waiting for the results!!

I have been off for some time this last few weeks too... and am going to begin C25K again..just to give my body a rest...:)

You will get there!!!

Waiting is the hardest part. I'm lucky as I had my appointments at a private hospital so its not been too bad.

Completed 30k on the bike today. Riding is good for the leg but walking is still hard. Just finding it hard to not get on the treadmill. Hop along is my new name 🙄

I hope you get back to C25K soon. Never thought I would enjoy it but reading about everyone's journey helps. It's good to know I'm not the only one huffing an proofing my way through it.
