Week 6, run 2 :-(

I went out at 6.45am to try to avoid the heat as am on holiday in Kefalonia..only managed to run 8 minutes of the first 10 minute run, and 4 minutes and 2 minutes of the next 10 minutes. I just didn’t seem to be able to get enough air in and my legs were hurting so much. So am disappointed in myself..was planning to do run 3 on Sunday back home with my running partner..do you think l should repeat run 2 instead? 😣

I think you should repeat. It was obviously too hot in Kefalonia and you gave it a good go. Put it down as a practice run and enjoy the rest of your holiday 👍

Do rest and do repeat the run... we do need each one to build the running legs up and we need to be happy about them.

Hydrate well and then maybe a slightly cooler time.. steady and slow:)
