Gait Analysis

Having had a couple of issues with both knees over my C25K journey I had a gait analysis done last week by a shop called 'Up and Running'. Think they have shops dotted around the country. The analysis was free and they tested me running on a treadmill with my current shoes then gave me a different pair of shoes to try. Upshot of it all was my original shoes were ok. I was told I need neutral shoes no adjustment needed. They didn't try and sell me more expensive shoes for the sake of it. Would recommend them if you have one of these shops nearby. My knees have just been getting used to the increased distance over time. At the moment they are fine and my last run I did just over 6km. 😊

This is really helpful thank you. I have a shop locally and am planning to go soon. Was worried I might feel under pressure to spend money I don’t have unnecessarily. I’ve heard good things about them and this confirms it. Thx

Id second that as well. The shop in Milton Keynes were very low pressure although I did end buying some Brooks Ghosts so I suppose they got their monies worth.
