Im new on here. I am a 65 year old female and retired from work at the end of March. I decided to get motivated as I didn't want to sit around and needed a goal. I am now on week 6 run 3. It is hard at my age but I am pleased with my progress as I couldn't even run for a bus before beginning the programme. I am not overweight but wanted to get fit. Hope this inspires others!

Welcome... it’s not your age... I started this at 46 and it was hard! If this were easy we’d be trampled by herds of runners each time we stepped onto a pavement 😂

Great job thus far... you’re into the just running phase and it’s only a couple of small step ups to that graduation. Enjoy closing this out.

Congratulations Yvogoose, by completing run 3 of week 6 you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, well done, onwards and upwards to 7, not too long now until you graduate.
