This time last year, I was 60 & on Week 6 of C25K. I amazed mysef by graduating

Feeling very under confident, I started doing Parkrun

Today, dear Reader, I am 61 & ran Hull 10k in 1:14:22 - not a speedy time but a huge personal achievement

If I can do it - anyone can

Keep running - just keep going x x x

Congratulations Christianne57 on completing the Hull 10K in a very good time of 1:14:22,

Today I registered for Parkrun, got my barcode, only problem is I don't have a printer, Oldfloss gave me advice how to get it printed, or I could ask my daughter to print it off on her printer.

You can get laminated ones for a couple of quid from the parkrun website.

Thanks for that information sTrong Fuse, Oldfloss told me that as well, however, I will see my daughter first and ask her if she could print the barcode on her printer.

I got myself a laminated one purely because there's nothing more depressing than completing a run on a wet morning only to discover your bar code has turned to a soggy much that can't be scanned (fortunately I did have a spare in my car).
