Soo today was W3R2 and I really wasn’t fancying it much after a days work and it being quite warm but it went really well and I can see how the programme builds gradually in a positive way ..just feeling a bit of ouch on the insides of my knees ..not sure if it’s my new running shoes or just being an old bird 😂

Great job. There’s some knee strengthening work in the guide and the strength and flex programme. Good shoes, nice slow running, landing the feet flat and under you, possibly on a softer surface will all help minimise the impacts, with the remaining impact strengthening your bones as you go. See how you’re feeling next run day and don’t be afraid to take an extra rest day if needed.
