Just started week 2 today and found run 1 much harder. That extra 30 seconds on the run really was felt. I did it though and am looking forward to run 2 on Thursday. Still getting pain in my lower calf muscles though. I did the pre and post run stretches that are on the NHS site. I have had a gait analysis and shelled out on some stability running shoes as well. I was getting foot pain on week one but didn't get any today. Hopefully the shoes have helped there. Is the calf pain normal? I'm doing things my body isn't used to so maybe it's that?
Thanks in advance for any advice; it is always really appreciated.
Cheers Phil.

That's a good idea, I'll try it on Thursday. Thank you.
I had pains in the first weeks Phil, they were gone by week 3. Just take it steady, slow it right down. Take an extra day rest if you need it, a warm bath helped me... I even tried an Ice bath, not sure I'd recommend that though 😨 😫
