So it turns out I now have a different diagnosis of peroneal tendonitis in both ankles. So sad because now looks like Iām not going to be able to run for 6-8weeks. But I will be back as soon as I am ableš¢

Poor you and you will miss It. I too have been in your shoes. Last year I graduated and then pulled a hamstring and it took me months to get over it. In fact I have just started the program again this week. The problem I had was being worried about exacerbating the injury I lost all confidence. However week run 2 under my belt and enjoying now to get those skis that I have put back on off again.
Itās so frustrating. Iāve really surprised myself with how quickly itās become a routine and something I look forward to. I just have to be patient. (Not my strong point) hoping it wonāt be 6-8 weeks physio days see how I get on with it. If pain settles then I can resume but obviously steadily.
Any chance of replacing it by swimming or something so you don't lose the routine ?
Hi backintime. Unfortunately I canāt I live in the middle of nowhere and itās at least an hours drive to nearest pool or gym. Thatās why I think c25k fit so well. Still trying to be optimistic swelling has gone now and since physio Kt taped it itās no longer painful to walk on.( not sure how much rest it actually gets with young children, labrador and working 12 hrs in feet all day Just rest, elevate, ice, repeat. Iāve been told I can do strength and flex as long as itās not too painful but no running. Oh well, I enjoy a challenge letās see how quickly I can prove them all wrong ( without jeopardising my health of course)
aww sorry to hear you are laid up best wishes for a speedy recovery and return to the programme take care
