Hi all

About 2.5 weeks into running and running 1.3 miles with 2 1 minute stops. Is this particularly slow progress?

I started following the app but not very well! How are you finding it?

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You will be much better off following the programme.

It's structure is gently progressive and will get you running for thirty minutes in just nine weeks.......safely.

The distance you cover is immaterial, being solely duration based.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you

Are you following the c25k programme? I would say, don't worry about pace yet. You are out running and that's great progress :)

I will try and follow it rather than go rogue! Thank you

Give the C25k app another go. It's so helpful in structuring your running and you can chart your progress as you complete each week. It's centred around running for set times rather than distance but once you have completed the programme and can run for the 30 minutes you can work on your distance. Good luck.
