Good luck to everyone who is running this weekend in Edinburgh, I think there are several different distances, a 5K, a 10K, half and full marathon and several shorter distances for children. A true festival of running. Arthur J is running in the 5K, good luck Arthur.

Thanks. Yes 10k and 5k tomorrow, marathons and half marathon on Sunday. One or two people in the past have attempted all four!

Wow Arthur, they are very brave to run all those distances, especially a person who runs a half marathon and then a full marathon on the same day after running a 5 and 10k the previous day, anyway good luck to you for a more sensible distance of 5K.

Bear in mind the half starts at 8 am and the full marathon at 10. Finishing the half at Musselburgh and getting back to the city centre in time to start the marathon at 10 is a huge achievement in itself! I’m happy with my 5k. One lap of Arthur’s Seat but I’m not allowed to sit on it

In case anyone thinks that Arthur's Seat is a seat, no, it's a extinct volcano in Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, I can see it on a clear day from high up near to where I live in Cumbernauld, it can be seen from the top of what they call "The tak me doon Road up in the Kilsyth Hills. Yes Arthur's Seat, nice ArthurJG to run around a hill with your name.

Thank you very much 🤗, looks like it’s going to be a bit damp.....☔️ but hey ho......a bit of parkrun tourism in the morning....then......looking forward to a bit of sightseeing around this fabulous city before the big event on Sunday.....😱🤪
