Only 6 more runs to go before I graduate I’m so proud of myself but I’m going to do them when it’s cooler learnt a lesson not to run when it’s hot it really got to me but that’s not going to stop me nothing is 😉🏃🏻‍♂️

I’ve got 6 left too! Start week 8 tomorrow. I can’t run when it's warm. I go out usually around 6.30 am and it’s nice and cool. I much prefer it to evening as I’m usually too tired after work etc. Surprisingly, doing an early run seems to energise me during my working day. I didn’t think I’d be able to cope before work and when I first started out I did them late afternoon when I finished work. But like you, the heat (and it wasn’t as hot as now) was too much - it was a struggle. Hopefully your next run will be better 😊

Yes that’s what I’m going to do wait until it’s cool not in the heat that one I’m not going to repeat 😉

Yes Kevtrev, you only have 6 more runs until you graduate, that is a sensible decision to run when it's cooler, when I was doing C25K last year, most of my runs were ran around 9am when it was nice and cool, a few exception, run 2 of week 9 was ran on a Saturday afternoon, the reason for that was the weather, it had been lashing with rain all morning, it went off at 1.30pm and I ran the 30 minute run about 30 minutes later in a temperature of around 15c/60f

Good luck for the 3/28 minute runs of week 8🏃😊

Not putting a kibosh on this lovely weather but I love running in the rain haha but love the weather like this to sit in enjoy a bbq and a few ales 😉🏃🏻‍♂️

We live and learn! Well done for getting through it and hopefully your next run will be more pleasant at a cooler time of day. It's amazing how a few degrees can make such a difference. A shady place to run can really help, any nice woodland trails near you?

Yes definitely lesson learned and I will be running at a cooler time of day or night lol and I think there is a unused railway track not far from us and it’s a very long route maybe give it a go 😉

I am aiming for cooler time of day to run W8 aswell. I’ve come so far I’m going to reduce any risk! No stopping me now! Xx
