I returned from my holidays a graduate ! Faithful spaniel was most put out that we had not done this together so I promised him a graduation run of his own . Here is his report on the run
Up at the crack of 5 am I have been awake for aaages, oh she is getting out of bed now . See her pull those stretchy leggings on and get ready to go for a run with me . Out the door we go great scent of cattle and I can smell a fox . Up the road we go brisk walk for her but a fast trot for me cause I want to see what’s ahead. Let’s see I can see the sheep sleeping in the field one looks at me then closes its eye again . Never mind them where’s the fox! Oh I see she my owner is running now, not very quick is she? I smell a badger up ahead I hope there’s pooh it’s my favourite for rolling in . She my owner goes mad when she smells it I think she likes it too. On we go is that a bird damn I misssed that one , oh she my owner is at the gate now shall I follow or stay . She’s calling me I best go on but mostly I stop to smell the chicken smells up here .
Time to turn round she says and we are running back. I’m looking forward to flopping on the bed and she’s looking forward to coffee . Past the bluebells we go and the musky scent of that flipping fox . I see a cat sat on the fence best not bother with that now as she owner will shout out!
Down hill now she’s going a bit quicker but not as fast as me ha I will pass her now!
So that’s the graduation run over I’ve done loads of klllyograms or what ever they are called as I run up and down all the time . She owner is making a fuss of me I’m glad she is home.
Happy running you runners!
