Does the timer pause automatically when you get a phone call mid run ?

I'm on call this week and just as I was finding my rhythm for wk 5 run2 first 8 minutes, I got called, grrrrr! Only plus was I didn't pant down the phone at the caller so they didn't think I was up to "other things". 😉Carried on afterwards then stopped when MJ said. Worried I didn't do the full interval. I did the last 8 mins fine but ran on another minute just in case. Miffed because I had the first glimpse of fun cut short.😡

If the timer paused, and I don’t believe it would have, you’d have run longer to get to MJ saying the interval was done... so no worries there... if you stopped for a minute or so and it didn’t pause I don’t think it’s a big deal.

Strangely whenever I get a call from Little Miss UNM’s school I can predict the gender of the teacher before answering... if I’m running it’s a female, if I’m not it’s a male... I expect to be arrested any day now 🤣

I work for a funeral director so sometimes it is the Police, .... see you in the cells 🤣😂

Hi, I have taken calls whilst using the app and mine stopped and restarted when the call ended, I was miffed two but was on a treadmill so could see how far I had run. Maybe it differs depending on the device?

Thanks Bunty, it was one of those niggly things I couldn't stop thinking about. The starting aches had stopped so I must have been over 5mins for me but you know how it is 🙂

I've took a call mid run before and the timer paused. Annoying and I dont know how to fix it. Sorry.

Thanks Danis, I was hoping it stopped and started again so I'd run the 8mins even with a break, this running must be getting to me!?

Yes unfortunately it pauses when you get a phone call 😔 but my app messed up on the 20min run ages ago and the voice didn’t go with the run I was doing so I changed the voice for the next run and it went back to how it should be 😉
