I completed my first 30 minutes. Yipeeeee. Nuff said.

I still need to reach 5k but it's a start and reading some posts time will get me there.

I've got the summer to build up the strength in my legs and then hopefully do a park run with the guys at work and surprise them

Congratulations and well done! You'll reach 5k in time if you put your mind to it mate, it's not necessary to do 5k in 30 mins to pass C25k, but I'm sure with a few consolidation runs after you've graduated that you'll get there 👍👊

A common theme throughout this journey is slow slow slow and it works, thanks for the reminder since I need to be reminded

I graduated last weekend and still only at around 4.7k which includes the 5 min walks either side. The main point is running for 30 mins. Distance comes later.

The magic 30 mins is truly magical since I would not have thought possible at the start and especially week 1 when I ran too fast and struggled. Its a dream at the start then slowly becomes within reaching distance then before we know it week 9 is here and the dream is a reality

Brilliant! You are on the home run!! Can you believe it, after all these weeks you only have two more runs to go?! Well done 😀

I can't believe it. I also still can't believe my wife has not had a full english ready for me when I get home from the 5am runs! despite the many hints. Maybe upon graduation? ha ha dream on Mike

Ha ha! She may just be saving it for the big day!! Have a great week and look forward to seeing your name alongside ‘graduate’ in a few days time! 😊

Well done on reaching week 9, must feel so amazing to have come so far. Great advice posted by others, just run for now, distance surely comes as you improve week by week. I increased my pace on my run yesterday, but ever so slightly and my legs felt so heavy towards the end, most people complain about this so I am looking at stretching exercises which I can add to the runs.
