I found my normal body weight again with this in combination with

Eat to live by Joel Fuerman... never would have believed it but it worked. Good luck and welcome..

I found that never opening a dialogue with yourself about whether to go for your run or not really helps...it must be a non negotiable....once you start debating about whether to run or not, those gremlins jump in! Don't think about it, just put on your kit and go!

You have found the right place if you need encouragement because most if not all of the folks on this forum have been where you are now. Enjoy your journey and let us know how it goes and also if you need any pointers, Good Luck 😎

Welcome. Prepare to change if you want to. Follow the plan. Jog, run or brisk walk as necessary, for the stated times. Don’t get hung up on speed or distance. Do read the FAQ POSTS from Iannoda Truffe. Look at Slow Running Man on YouTube. Do that for nine weeks and if you are anything like me, although I started nearer 100Kg, you will be happier, breathing easier, tightening your belt, a bit lighter and you won’t believe that it all happened. I have two runs to go to finish C25K. Still perhaps no where near 5K in one run, but I never thought I could run non stop for 30 minutes. How I struggled to do 90 second jogs in week 2! I really did!

Never thought I could be a happy runner. Join me! Enjoy your journey to a fitter, slimmer you.

And you have my support...been there done it...etc etc. I have lost 2 stone now on this journey so far and never thought I would be a runner so keep the faith and get to the end. It is deffinately a journey some times harder days than other but don't give up. I am 65yrs not a speedy runner but get there still the same. I am so pleased you have decided this is now your turn...keep me posted

Just a thought! Go to the bathroom mirror and take a selfie of sideways on, fat you. Your words. Keep it safe, to compare in a few weeks time. This is the last opportunity to take that pic. Perhaps measure your thick bits too? Calf, thigh, hips, biceps etc.? Tummy tightening doesn’t necessarily show on the scales. Enjoy your running.

Me too. Amazing the things you find out too late. That is the advantage of this forum though.

Wise man learns from other people’s mistakes.

Enjoy your running.
