So it would have so easy not to do this one tonight. It’s been a long week at work, have hardly seen hubby because of his shifts, it was raining...! But I convinced myself it was a passing shower, got changed and got out there. And I’m so pleased I did. It wasn’t just a passing shower, it peed down for the whole run and I almost gave up ten minutes in when I convinced myself I was getting shin splints (I wasn’t!) but, for some strange reason, the rain spurrred me on and I ran 28 full minutes hardly thinking about it. I got home nearly 40 minutes later, soaked to the skin, probably carrying an extra half stone in rainwater...but with a great big smile on my face!! Even better, hubby has the dinner ready and a lovely glass of wine poured. Sorry for the long post, but I’m so very excited and happy with myself. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend 😁

Great post sounds like your doing an amazing job. It can be a tough mental battle with the mind trying to derail you when you have so much to juggle with work / shifts / kids etc. Keep it up ! All the best !
