I completed week 7 yesterday...so amazed that I'm managing to run for 25 minutes (and the key thing...I'm enjoying it). My first 5K race is 30th June (it's only a Race for Life, and I think I'm taking it a little bit too seriously...but hey ho).
I'm away for a week prior to the race and I don't want to lose momentum or fitness - would you recommend taking my gear with me (we're going to Puerto de Santiago in Tenerife) and going out for a couple of short runs, or should I not worry too much (we will probably do a lot of walking)? I don't know the area, or even if there is anywhere to run...
