I started C25K as a complete novice runner. I have always exercised in many different environments Gym, classes Bootcamp- even running at bootcamp was always a challenge for me and I was always last.

I started going out at 6am with C25K, had my music on - saw my bootcamp friends on the way round Abbey Fields and actually found myself enjoying it. I actually stopped C25k on week 5, not because I gave up, but because I was talked into going with the running club- that initial push gave me the push and motivation to run.

Now I run at least twice a week with running club- I have met new people and am set to compete in the Colchester 10k next weekend.

I have also registered to do the London Marathon 2020.

Surprisingly although hard it gets under your skin and you feel great afterwards- it’s also free

Well done you ! But why not press on to graduation ? If you’re going out twice with the club, you could still do at least one C25k run each week too !

I certainly could but I need a day off in between, work full time and have a good social life.
