So long intervals ☹️ think I’m going to miss you ....

No more interval runs 😱!!! Last one today 😢

However I do have to admit I loved the buzz I got from the W5R3 run, and I really haven’t enjoyed the first two runs of week 6 and being back on intervals.

I’m not quite sure what to expect of W6R3, so just going to take it as it comes and hope it goes well....

Yes, that's that as far as interval walks and runs, no more, congratulations Selly-dot on officially becoming a runner, onwards and upwards to week 7, again 3/25 minute runs.

Thank you. I’ll remember your earlier advice and take it steady and go slow. I’m still a joffler, but I reckon that, alongside DiscoRunner’s slow jogging technique, is what has got me this far. Once a jogger, always a joffler.... 😊

My strickly UNOFFICIAL term between a runner and jogger is if he/she can run a 5K10K sub 30/60 minutes respectively he/she is a runner, +30 or 60 minutes he or she is a jogger/joffler. As I say that is strictly UNOFFICIAL

I feel the same, slightly nervous about w6r3 tomorrow, runs 1 & 2 this week have not been great. But 5r3 went surprisingly well so 🤞

You will be fine...remember nice and slow and your surprise yourself ! This is when you become a real runner, just keep on going, get some good tunes on, positivity and your smash it !

Thank you! I must admit to feeling my most nervous about the end of W6 & start of W7, but your post has made me feel better. Sunday morning - I shall be up with the larks & my tunes will be on!

You will surprise yourself and the buzz you get is fantastic. I did my first W7r1 on Thursday with the second tomorrow morning. After W6r3 the first of week 7 was not daunting. I'm actually looking forward to it since I know I can do it. You will do it and you will enjoy it. I punched the air and thought is anyone watching, But at 5-6 in the morning everyone is in bed!!!

Thank you 😊. I think I need to treat W6R3 as the next milestone after W5R3 and I approach it the same way. Hopefully I will be punching the air too!
