Just downloaded the Couch to 5k app and plan to start tomorrow. Putting it on here makes it real so now I have to do it! I run on the treadmill at the gym but all previous attempts at running outside have been rubbish but I’m determined to do it this time.......

It’s easier on a treadmill, some people do c25k first indoors and then repeat some or all outside later. But it all counts - it’s all running. And nice and slow - this is about learning to run for 30 minutes so don’t worry about speed or distance - both of these can be worked on later. Good luck!

Since the London Marathon on Sunday, I have noted that there have been many more people than there usually are starting C25K, I understand that there was a mention of it on TV on Sunday encouraging people to start running.
hey, well done on downloading the Couch to 5k and planning to start. I had it on my phone for a whole MONTH before I started it. Honestly it's a great thing to do and the support on the forum is excellent. Good luck on your exciting journey!
Although called the dreadmill by a lot of.people on here I started in the gym too. From wk2 I do at least one outside now. I just completed w4r3 today in gym. Keeps a steady pace.
