Hello everyone,
I haven't posted in this forum yet, but I have taken a lot of inspiration from it - so thank you everyone!
I completed Week 8, Run 1 last night, and loved it. I've struggled with motivation and (dare I say it) *slight* boredom on the longer runs over the last couple of weeks, but gave myself a couple of extra rest days over the weekend and felt like a runner-renewed yesterday! I got into a great rhythm for the 28 minutes, and with Adam Buxton and Ruby Wax accompanying me in my ears, ran my furthest and quickest yet!
Thanks to this forum for spurring me on, and for those just beginning, you can definitely DEFINITELY do this. There will be good runs and bad runs, but they'll all teach you something new about yourself and your running / mental ability.
Onwards to week 8, run 2
