Longest run since Graduation

Went out last night to do my first 5K since November. Wasn’t a fast one at all at around 39 minutes but by that time I was feeling comfortable and in a steady rhythm so decided to run for an hour. Managed 7.2km. Pleased with that. Certainly won’t be breaking any land speed records but a solid hour of running is something I would have never thought possible when I started last July with 60 second interval runs !

Well done. Nearly 7.5k in an hour isnt bad at all. One thing that took me a while to get head around. It doesn't matter how fast or how far you go, it's just as long as you go. Keep it up.

What a fantastic run! It’s just amazing isn’t it - how we go from bright red collapse to an hour long run!

I was bright red by the end. Last 0.75km was uphill

Very impressive - I still avoid the mountains (er inclines) when I can - just working a big on those now! Your very inspiring!
