Woohoo I am better than I thought!

Had an epiphany yesterday. Realised I was starting at 8km phr and when I cooled down after 25 mins of stop start I continued running right down to 4kphr. And it was easy! So today ran straight off starting at 6kmphr. And continued for 30 mins increasing from 6 to 7 to 8 to 9 then five mins sprint at 10.8. And then 5mins cool down. All without stopping! And I didn’t get out of breath or sweat. So I think I may have cracked the barrier which was obviously a mental one. And I loved it and can’t wait to get back tomorrow. And just to let you I have done some serious damage to my ligaments and gave myself acute tendinitis in both Achilles. So I’m really careful and aware. It’s taken me four weeks to get back to it. And I feel great. And have depression and anxiety plus panic attacks. So if I can do it, there is definitely hope for everyone. Just keep going. Anything is better than nothing . Even if you were just walking for what seemed like for ever without being able to crack the barrier. My next goal is to run at 10kmphr for 15 mins and sprint at 12 for 5. Keep going everyone. Xxx

Sounds like you have hit on a increase of speed that works for you, that is a lot of pace watching but if it is working for you I am pleased. Happy running. Rfc x
