Astounding. It's my last week of the C25K programme and I'm truly amazed at my progress from struggling in week 1 with running for intervals of 60 seconds, to now comfortably running for 30 minutes and feeing I could go further. Today's has inadvertently shown me what is really possible. Off I went; music on, C25K app started, tracking app running in the background from after the warm up walk. After comfortably running for what felt like a while without any encouragement from Mr Johnson I check the C25K app and for some reason it had not started!!! Argh. What to do? I decide to just keep going, I've been running for a while and I'm enjoying it. The tracking app is on in the background anyway. Result = I ran for 34 minutes, covering 5.9km feeling I could possibly have carried on. What a turnaround from just a few weeks' ago when I struggled to run at all. So looking forward to my final run in the programme after a couple of days rest to ease the 40-something niggles.
