Hi don’t know if anyone has any advice and I don’t know if it’s got anything to do with jogging, but I have pain in the bottom of my right foot just under the toes (don’t know what that is called) I jogged on Monday evening for 25 minutes and it’s been sore when I walk on it just wondering if it has anything to do with the trainers I’m wearing thanks in advance xx🏃‍♀️

If you are not wearing proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop, then it is highly possible that your trainers are causing the problem.

If considering new shoes, this may help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Hi, I used to get differing pains in my feet until I went to get analysed at a particular sports equipment store. They filmed me running on a treadmill and surmised that I was pronating (I think thats the spelling!). They then got me to try different trainers or combinations of trainers and special insoles until everything came right.

My first run with my new footwear was an absolute joy! Like wearing springs, fantastic support to my feet and a lot less discomfort afterwards.

I would highly recommend having it done. It not all stores do it. I went to DW sports and I have to say they were immensely helpful and didn't force me down a route of buying the most expensive things they had. Even gave me good discount on what I eventually went for!!

Pain in the ball of the foot could be many things but footwear should certainly be checked. I started to get discomfort there when my last pair of running shoes were coming to the end of their life.

As with the others I highly recommend going to an actual run shop and being correctly fitted with the right footwear rather than just a sports shop. 👍
