Feeling brave but not very....!

Now that I am fitter and much more confident I was thinking about mixing things up a bit....... I was thinking I might borrow my son’s bike and go out for a ride on the non-running days to keep myself active. The problem is I have not ridden a bike since I was about 13 I think (33 years ago 😱). I know the saying goes that you never forget but any advice???

Take bike out somewhere quiet first and practice. Just in case, you don’t want to be unsteady with traffic about.

Off road! I taught my cousin at a late age on a local running track. You have to go for it, faster is easier when you start

Good on you. Go for it! Somewhere quiet to begin with. Have fun.
