Week 8, Run 2 only four runs to go...

My legs feel so heavy for the first five minutes, is that normal? I run, alternately, on black top and the verge. The route is fairly flat, but goes slightly up hill before my turn around point. My favorite part of my run is the downhill on the way back. I run faster, my stride lengthens, it feels wonderful. Please tell me, that eventually I will do that for the whole run. Ahhh, I can dream. I did this run two days ago, so today is W8R3, wish me luck, it warm out there.

Yep - absolutely normal - often referred to as the fatal five - I also hit it on the last 5 mins of all my runs - so I sing out loud to get over the “head gremlins” - keep going!
