Finally I left the treadmill and its numbers, went outside, glad I did it.

I’ve never done the treadmill and can’t imagine being in the same spot for however long (25 mins for me). Part of the distraction and getting me through is being outside. Hope you continue to enjoy your journey outside especially now the weather getting better. 👍
Ah, the great outdoors! Fresh air, trees and sunshine. Looks like you found a great spot for your first outdoor run. Well done.
Please promise to do it again!

I’m at W4R3 (just done with it), so I know nothing about running. But I know there’s no black and white in life. I run early in the morning, not there yet to run outside in 1.5 degrees Celsius, through rain and fog. And then I head for the treadmill. On the plus side, since W2R2, on the treadmill next to mine a nice chatty lady run at slow pace, and that helped enormously with finding my conversational pace. And there’s the speed, and the power written on. Outside, there’s no speed, it’s just me, and we’re friends again (after long time), and Mr Johnson telling me when to go and when to stop. It feels good.

Welcome to the (very different) world of outdoor running. Enjoy, especially at the moment! 😎🎉
