Last run of week 4 completed in new trainers. ‘Old’ trainers not that old but clearly not up to the extra running I’m now doing and even with insoles my outer leg was killing by the end of the run.
Treated myself to a new pair and have to say so far so good! And a beautiful sunny morning too.
Feeling energised.
Morning! I’ve just started Wk4 and decided the end is nigh for my ancient but comfy trainers too. A shopping expedition next week for gait analysis and new running shoes is my treat for getting this far.
Happy running in your new shoes - they will put a spring in your step!
When I got my first pair of proper running shoes it made such a difference. Don’t get half as much aching in my knees now.
