Each week is stretching you............ until graduation......... then you can ease back on the weekly increase in demand on your body, which is why we recommend consolidating for a few weeks, until 30 minutes is a comfortable duration.
I remember finding weeks 7 and 8 quite tough, but I believe now that it is far more a mental battle than a physical one.
It was around this time that I started giving a running commentary of everything that I could see, hear and feel as I ran. Getting my mind away from thinking about my body and the mechanics of running was a great distraction and was a powerful lesson to learn.
They’ll be as difficult, probably. But you can do them. If it all feels a bit too much, slow down. You’ve got this, and we’re all here cheering you on x
W8R3 is planned for the morning, so far I'm preferring the longer running times without the stopping for walks, I don't find it easy but I manage each run and have actually found I've started to look forward to them. I found W6 the worst, the chopping and changing but definitely a mental battle not physical.. I know I've got another 2 minutes in me
I think it was the 10 min ones I found the break made the 2nd 10 mins really difficult, and the 25min ones were weirdly sort of easier. But with these 28 min ones I’m really having to push myself.
Anyway, 4 more to go to the end, can’t believe it!
