Hi, I’m sophie and my goal is to lose weight for my up coming show in October! I’m currently 13 stone and my goal realistically is to drop 9 pounds

Good goal. Running alone doesn’t guarantee weight loss, that comes from good nutrition. However, this running malarkey will tone you up, so you should be quite a bit smaller by October! The combination of nutrition and running is pretty formidable and people here have had great weight losses alongside the plan.

Initially running can stall weight loss, or certainly slow it, so it’s good that your target is below the recommended 1-2 pounds a week maximum loss for sustainable results.

You can drop the pounds, and you can do this. Enjoy your journey
