28 mins in the bag! But sitting at home with a resorative coffee and an ice pack on my right knee ๐Ÿ˜. Doesn't hurt when running but agony going downstairs or when bearing weight in a 'pushing off ' position. ( that's my weekly badminton game out the window ).

It's becoming a regular pain - after every run!

Ive returned to running after approx 10 months and bought new shoes after gait analysis . I never had this pain with old running shoes. Wonder if they got it wrong. Any advice other than ice and anti inflammatory gels?

Iโ€™m a bit behind you in the program but had a similar issue after gait analysis and new shoes. My non-expert opinion is that corrected gait meant muscles are used slightly differently. I used knee and glute strengthening exercises after each run and in 2 weeks it had improved, now a further 3 weeks on itโ€™s not much trouble at all.

Thanks Rosiepug. ..my knees are basically crunchy, which I've accepted after years of impact and 'bouncing around ' aerobics in my 20's, 30's and 40's ( ah, the gift of hindsight! ) I'll dig around for the strengthening exercises and get started.
