Completed week 8 run1 this morning after repeating week 7 again last week. Boy oh boy it was tough, really felt like giving up but reached the end! Was so knackered struggled to walk upstairs to my flat.
Still I put all this into perspective and remind myself how far I have come in a short space of time and what week1 felt like.
Good luck to everyone on their runs!

Well done on getting through the run.I'm on Week8 next, having done an extra Wk7 run as I had a stop-start week. I'm starting to need distraction techniques when I start flagging.( Generally looking into people's front gardens!)
Good luck with the next run, I'm sure it will be easier.
Good shout on the distraction techniques, for me it is playing music really loudly then cursing Michael Johnson to hurry up and tell me I’m finished. I know it will get better and it is all about getting the KMs under the belt as he says!
Well done for pushing on through. Someone posted this when I was in W6 and it changed everything for me m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... If you think of c25k of learning to run for 30 minutes, at this stage all you have to focus on is duration, so this slow low impact way of running may really help. You can always work on pace later. I still run this way, and one of my weekly runs (today’s!) is now 50 minute - no way could I do that without this technique. Give it a go and see how you feel. There’s quite a lot in it for such a short film so I rewatched it a few times to get all the techniques right. Hope it helps.
Me too! My second attempt at week 8. Very tough but I knew if I didn't break through today I woukd have no hope of getting through during the week either. I feel like I'm running really slowly but am so proud of myself for pushing through and not stopping. Well done to you. I hope you get on ok with the other runs this week. It's a great achievement to get that far in 8 or 9 weeks. Good luck!
