I am at week 6 run 3 that is due today. But i have pulled my back and struggling to walk properly. I have 2 young dogs that pull when walking so my back has been teetering in the edge for a few weeks. A couple of days ago it went and now im in pain.
Stupid question, should i still try to run. Im gutted to get this far and now have to stop. 😡

No, don’t run with that injury. But you knew that really.
Conventional wisdom is that you can pick up from where you left off after a break of up to two weeks (assuming you’re fully recovered). If you are out for longer than that then, once you are back fit, start with a slow easy run and just listen to your body and you’ll soon know if you can continue from where you were or need to go back a step or two.
Not running when injured us just as much a part of the discipline of running as going out three times a week when fit, so don’t feel bad about it: you’re doing the right thing.
