Family illness etc., to many snacks after getting home late, a beer or 9 to relax (not that many truthfully) all took its toll.
Trying again and this time it feels different. Struggled for each of the runs until today, it feels that the longer runs allow me to get into a rhythm.
Going to try 10k tomorrow... not really! Hopefully this time I'll get there.

From one old git to another - keep starting again as many times as you need to. It took me over 5 months to complete last year and over winter have had many lapses but I have never gone back to my pre Couch25k lack of fitness. It builds up and seems to stay with you so don’t be discouraged when life gets in the way just get back to it when you are ready. Hey at least we are making the effort! 🙂
