Did wk4 r 2 on 28 March. Life and lack of motivation stalled me. I’ve started from the beginning again this morning. Is this the right thing to do?

Starting at the beginning is a great thing to do. You don't want to go straight in to W4r3, find it challenging and lose motivation again.
If you find W1r1 is OK, then do W1r2, but skip W1r3 and move on to W2r1. That way you move on a bit quicker until you find the best week for your ability. You also get back into the habit of running again with a few easy wins / successes under your belt.
