Well that was very odd. Feeling very stressed getting children out the door this morning, everyone behind. Children begged me not to run till 08:45 so I wouldn't be seen in embarrassing leggings. Eventually out the door by 9, app kept stopping, more argh..... moments. Then ........usual route and I got going. Slow and steady, by the sea, admiring the view. With very little warning realised I'd done 5k in 39:21. (Bit extra walk at end) no idea how I did it. Kilometre 3 was a very impressive 5:39. Absolutely astounded I did this. Must ask the children to hassle me more if it's this good. Sorry just had to post as can't stop smiling. 😁😁😁

Isn't it amazing that a great run can come out of a less than ideal day 😊

Thanks. I'm still smiling now. Hoping to keep the feeling for tomorrow anyway.

I can only dream of going that fast! Well done you ! Love the comment about the embarrassing leggings. I think I must scare the animals in mine!

It’s great when a grumpy start turns into happiness all because of a run isn’t it? What a magical thing. Well done!
