Just realised it's 3 weeks since I Graduated π. Still doing 3 times a week, juggling things about a bit now. 1st jog this week did a short 15 min quicker jog, 2nd one normal 30 mins and today jogged down to the gym..... mainly down hill then along river bank to gym... 3.5km. Never jogged down a hill that size.... different is how I'd describe it, it's quite a steep hill for about 1.75km, so I had to make sure I didn't go too fast, which would have been very easy to do. Only down side the hill is a main road so all the traffic fumes which I really didn't like. Maybe one day I will be able to jog up it.... that 1 day is a looooong way off at the min. Have a great weekend everyone ππ½ββοΈπ
Still here, still jogging ππ½ββοΈ: Just realised... - Couch to 5K
Still here, still jogging ππ½ββοΈ
Well done, uphill is good try it some time just go slow ππ
Well done keeping it up, and great run to that gym! Uphill is fun too... especially as you hit the summit and the downhill greets you. Happy running.
Thereβs no down hill for about 2 miles it carries on up past the end of my road for about another mile then levels our before the very gradual down hill. I will try it one day as I already walk up it once a week
Try walking up it first. Every time you go, walk faster. Eventually your feet will start jogging all by themselves π Well done on your progress - sounds like itβs going really well βοΈ
I already walk up it once a week.... slow but no hard breathing doing it and heart rate of about 131.... which is about 70% according to my monitor . Really must give it a go and see how far I get.
Iβve come to the conclusion this Forum can talk people into anything......look out hill Iβm coming to get you!!!!!ππππΌββοΈπ
Great achievement already....I have a hill that I keep thinking I may say hello to on my next run. Think I will have to walk up and roll down it πββοΈπ
Glad to know youβre still around & still doing. Reading your post makes me quite glad thereβs no such obvious hill in my area - clearly I would have to join in the challenge. π come to think about it, I do have a set of grassy ramparts at the Iron Age fort not far from us. As my runs extend, they are coming within range. π±
Hope you have a great weekend too. Glad to see you're still enjoying running.
