Another one in the bag; another step closer to my goal!
I was intending to have today as a second rest day, but felt pretty good so I thought what the hell and pulled my gear on and off I toddled.
I’ve also noticed that if I have a particularly crappy work day, getting out for my run with my music blaring and cutting off the world really really helps bring me back from being the Hulk to being normal.
Tweaked my route a little to allow me to get the extra time in, and passed 3km for the first time in a session (including the start and end walking).
Graduation is just a week and a bit away now!
I’m thinking that once I graduate I will stop my tracker in the walking parts so that it only runs while I’m actually running. Once I’ve got that distance measured, I will be able to put a plan together to gradually increase until I’m able to run 5km in one go reliably.
After that I think I will consolidate that in and then look at getting a little more speed.
Look at me setting additional goals! One would almost think I’m adulting!
