Hi - most of us get to week 9 and don’t cover 5k within the 30 minutes
It’s more about sustainable running and running comfortably and safely to start
Enjoy!

The objective of the program is to run for 30 minutes three times in one week.
Whilst "C25K" is a catchy title, it is not accurate. But "C2r430m3xi1w" is a bit of a mouthful.
The name Couch to 5K indicates that this is a progressive running program, and so in the first weeks (W1-W3) you are conditioning your body for running with shorter (1 minute, 90 second, 3 minute) runs, W4-W6 are a major transition to running for longer periods, and the last 3 weeks (W7-W9) work you up to running for 30 minutes.
At no point in any of the runs will the trainer/couch on the app or podcast give you a speed, pace or distance goal. During C25K only time matters.
