Hello everyone I didn’t realise I would get responses! It went really well thank you. I found the second run harder as I didn’t leave a rest day. I also booked in a yoga class today and was running late from work and missed it. So feeling a bit :(

Will do a run tomorrow evening. It will be my 3rd.

Thank you for the support!

You simply must leave a day rest between the runs, non negotiable!

If you've been running for at least a year or two (different bodies, difftent ages, different shapes/weight = different rules) then we can talk. If you are a trained professional, then you talk and l sit down and listen. ;)

The point is, you've only just started, your whole body's being confused and the muscles/tendons will need the tiniest reason to rebel and make a stand - and you, by not giving them any breathing space are not doing them any favours.

Seriously though. Take it very slowly and very easy, build up cardio resistance and muscle strength, do not push it, don't go over-confident because you may get injured necessarily and too soon, and all this comes from my own experience.

Wish you all the best & keep us posted!

Yes I agree I need to listen to my body more. Or I am going to burn out. Haha I’m not an athlete and I’m not in shape; therefore, I must take note :)

If you follow the program, nice and easy , no pushing, no rush, if you persist and find your groove, you will change your body for better beyond expectations. That has happened to so many of us. I struggled with my initial 60 seconds and now l can do leisurely paced 10K in around 60 minutes without being spent.

Enjoy yourself, hang in there, believe & you'll see for yourself.

Best!

Very inspiring 👍 congratulations on your success. I aspire to do this!

It’s generally what’s wrong with my life always wanting more rather than going with the groove. I’ll learn!

Thanks

Reason behind your motivation, will power and discipline. We've all got that, you just need to click. You can do it, no reason why not. None! :)
