Hi, I've been taking my couch to 5K journey very slowly, repeating runs and whole weeks where I need to. I am just about to start week 7 and I have noticed a real change in the shape of my body, slimming down and toning up. One problem though... I am hungry nearly all the time. I eat three good meals a day plus some snacks which fluctuate between fruit and cakes! I don't know what I should be eating to keep hunger at bay. Any thoughts?

I'm so hungry!
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

If you are hungry try drinking water.
Enjoy your journey.
Maybe timetable runs just before a meal time? I would try replacing the cake with something like full fat natural yoghurt with berries and nuts. At this point in your running, if you eat more you are likely to put on weight. Not many calories being burned yet.
I run just before dinner already. I like the idea of natural yogurt and berries. Thanks.
I've been the same but I've slightly changed how I eat. I run after I've taken the kids to school so found having a bowl of overnight oats with the kids eating their breakfast then taking them to school means that I'm all ready for the run an hour later. I also fill up a large bottle of water in a morning, in the fridge with it and I'll drink from it all day. I try to have my meals now at set times and really try hard not to snack but if I do I have fruit, after a run I find a banana great as it seems to stop me feeling really hungry and I've stopped buying cakes and biscuits (much to the husband and kids disgust!)
