Hurrah finally feel like i’m getting there

So with a BMI of 35 I didn’t think I would ever find this easy or particularly enjoyable. My motivation is to make a change to my life and conquer something I find challenging. The last few runs I have done have been hard, legs tired and unable to get my breath. I was starting to feel like this wasn’t for me but with only 5 runs till graduation I didn’t want to give up.

Last night was the first clear and not hugely windy day we’ve had for a while so I thought I would go for it. No pressure just a get out and see what happens. Well it was the best run ever. I am not speedy but for the first time ever I didn’t feel out of breath for the whole run, even including the slight inclines. When Michael said with 5 minutes to go you should be feeling tired I wasn’t feeling too bad! Maybe I could pick up the speed? So I did and finished with a sprint.

Sorry for the lengthy post but really wanted to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel and to those who are finding it challenging keep going!

Well done 👍 lovely post to read! Isn’t it a great feeling when it all starts to come together! And finishing with a sprint ...that’s brilliant 😊
