Getting used to do these 25mins non-stop. Not as daunting as first thought 7 weeks ago!

Breathing was all good. Breathing in the colder air seems refreshing. Pace was OK. Need to work on increasing the stride. Feet and knees were feeling tight.

More than chuffed for completing week 7 and sticking to going out there in the dark after work and just doing it. Also running in 3c isn't as bad as first thought. Base layer, lightweight hoody, gloves and thin hat works for me.

then are we allowed some cake? :D Does concern me I dont wanna fall off the wagon once graduated. is there a couchto5kgrad app? What about running in ice and snow when it does go sub zero.. or can we all hibernate till spring and do some beachbodyondemand online classes instead?

You can consolidate your 30 minute runs 3 times a week for a while, then if you feel like it you can hop over to B210K and decide what you want to do next. Lots of familiar names over there and equally as supportive and friendly. 😀

One of the members, ju-ju- has compiled a fab 10k plan called 10 is the Magic Number. No app, but there’s a pinned post about it.

I’ve joined a gym so when the weather turns real foul I’ll be treadmilling. No way am I stopping running this winter! 😀🏃‍♀️❄️

Well done Chris - good work sir! Just two little steps up now and you've done it. Yes, it is a bit of a shocker when you get out in that cold... but once those legs get moving you do warm up in no time don't you 👍 Keep up the good work 😃

Thanks ThunderSloth (love the name!).. yes the cold isnt as bad as first thought.. well running in 3c is OK.. not tried -1 yet!! Will you be treadmilling when it gets sub zero?

Yeeeeeesssss.... I'm a little apprehensive about sub zero temperatures, but like you I’ve got myself some decent running clobber now. I’ve signed up to JuJu’s 10K plan that cheeky was telling you about, so that’ll keep me going through ’til the new year. I don’t currently have any plans to use a treadmill (yet) but we’ll see how tricky it gets! I’ve been checking out the shower at work to see if I can run at lunchtimes when it might be a fractionally less cold/icy... Hmmm… we shall see…!
