Wohoooo I did it! Flipping hard work but the sense of achievement YAAAAAAAAS!
I’m 48 I hate running but over the last 9 or so weeks I’ve grown in confidence and fitness! I’m 11 pounds lighter and on my 4’11 frame that’s quite a lot.
I wanted to mark the occasion with something different than just doing my normal route so decided to try Catton Park Run in Norwich - so pleased I went the atmosphere is amazing and the organisation fantastic- I’m definitely going again
Thanks Couch25k you really are an amazing genius plan- for anyone trying this for the first time or struggling a bit, keep persevering its so beneficial.

If you still hate running then give yourself a break and slow down. It will be more enjoyable and still develop your stamina. If you hate it then you won't stick with it for long.
Fantastic. Congratulations and very well done to you for your great achievement. What better way to graduate than at a Parkrun. Nice way to kick off the weekend.
Someone posted in the last couple of days that they were determined to keep on running until they stopped hating it! It took six months but that happy moment has happened! I hope that happens for you too. 😃
Read up on consolidation and lay your plans for the next part of your running adventure. Good luck! 😀
