Happy Parkrun Day. Who’s going?

It’s an awful morning here, rain promised until the afternoon. It’s Wet, Wet, Wet. But I’m excited to go out and do my 33rd Parkrun and be joined by my 9 year old Son for his milestone 10th Parkrun. We are going to Marley Parkrun and will be joining my two Sisters there.

Happy Parkrun Day everyone. Enjoy whatever the weather.

Who else is Parkrunning this morning?

Good luck demienair and your son for your park run this morning, he probably will get another PB. It's snowing in many parts of Scotland this morning, so the park runs in Glasgow, Strathclyde, Falkirk and Dunfermline will all be affected by snow, not sure if any will be cancelled.

Have a great one...not me today. At the Coast right now, with torrential rain and very strong wind and the nearest one is a beach run.. ( not worth risk to my calves...just before my HM next week).

Have a super time and well done, Son!!!

I am! Currently sitting in the car park watching the wind at the Bushy Park parkrun. So windy the car is moving even though we’re stationary - think it’s going to be a jolly slow run!

Yuk, the weather's awful this morning, our park run has been cancelled...good luck to you both...nice hot bath afterwards and maybe a bit chocolate with squirty cream and marshmallows...

We did it. It was horrible weather wise. But I managed to shave 3 mins off my previous PB time for this course. We crossed the line together in 28:55.

Oisin has officially done 10 Parkruns.

Well done both! 3 minutes faster is amazing! I’m just home from mine too. Very windy but got through it. I was 569th!

I haven’t done one yet but my local one has been cancelled due to the high winds. Well done on getting out there!

My local one was not on today because of a canicross event. I looked at others but the nearest two, one looks really fast and competitive, I am not mentally prepared to come last! The other looks like a really muddy route and is on very high exposed ground so I just did a 5k near home on my own instead.
